What Papé Needed

A new Ferndale facility that demonstrated a new modern look. They wanted a building that could be the standard for moving forward.

How did we accommodate the client's needs and deliver the result they wanted?

JB STEEL™ supported Pape’s architectural and engineering team in a design-assist capacity to produce a design for a highly-customized pre-engineered metal building. JB STEEL™ detailed and engineered the exterior façade which was structurally independent of the main metal building to achieve the aesthetics Pape wanted.

What services did we provide on this project?

Design-assist, supply and install of PEMB, fabrication/supply and install of structural steel, supply and install of windows, doors, insulated metal panel siding and roofing.

What obstacles did we overcome?

The custom façade on the metal building was definitely a challenge. Our design-assist team of Steel & PEMB detailers were able to work through complex designs and coordinate in the field.
